These rebuilding kits will cover any Cast Iron Powerglide transmission used in cars from 1955-1957.
We offer four versions of kits ranging from an Overhaul Kit which includes all of the gaskets, seals, and rings, to our most complete Master Kit which includes all gaskets, seals, rings, clutches and steel plates.
All of these kits will include a rear pump drive pin.
NOTE- Some 1957 Cast Iron Powerglides use a special stack up in the high clutch drum and may require (3) PG4-1A .091" thick steel plates. These are not included in the kit and will be available separate if needed.
External Seal Kit = All gaskets and seals required to re-seal the outside of the transmission.
Overhaul Kit = All gaskets, rubber seals, metal clad seals, and sealing rings.
Major Kit = Overhaul kit plus friction plates.
Master Kit = Major kit plus steel plates
