1977-On Toyota A40D / A42DRebuilding Kits

These rebuilding kits will cover the Toyota A40D and A42D 4 speed rear wheel drive transmission used from 1977-On in various applications including Celica, Corolla, Corona, and Cressida.

These transmissions will have a steel I.D. tag on the side of the case with the code of 03-50, 03-51 or 03-70.

We offer three versions of kits ranging from an Overhaul Kit which includes all of the gaskets, seals, and rings, to our most complete Master Kit which includes all gaskets, seals, rings, clutches and steel plates.

Overhaul Kit = All gaskets, rubber seals, metal clad seals, and sealing rings.

Major Kit = Overhaul kit plus friction plates.

Master Kit = Major kit plus steel plates
